Reinforcement

Conforce Mesh

Welded wire mesh for concrete reinforcement and crack control.

Product Overview

Conforce mesh is a prefabricated welded wire reinforcement mesh used in concrete construction. Manufactured from high-tensile steel wires welded at each intersection, it provides uniform reinforcement and excellent crack control in concrete slabs, walls, and pavements.

Our Conforce mesh offers significant time and labor savings compared to traditional loose bar reinforcement, ensuring consistent spacing and coverage across your entire concrete pour. Trusted by contractors across Zambia for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Features

Uniform Reinforcement

Consistent wire spacing ensures even load distribution throughout the concrete.

Fast Installation

Prefabricated sheets reduce on-site labor and installation time significantly.

Crack Control

Effectively controls shrinkage and temperature cracking in concrete.

Installation Guidelines

Support mesh on chairs or blocks at correct cover depth
Overlap sheets by minimum 200mm or one full mesh spacing
Tie overlaps with wire ties at corners and edges
Do not walk directly on mesh before concrete pour
Ensure mesh is positioned in the tension zone of the concrete
Cut mesh with bolt cutters or angle grinder as needed

Rebar vs Conforce Mesh

Reinforcing Bar (Rebar)

Best for primary structural reinforcement in beams, columns, and heavy foundations. Higher load capacity for critical structural elements.

Conforce Mesh

Best for slab reinforcement, crack control, and secondary reinforcement. Faster installation and more cost-effective for large areas.
